Our bags are packed. We’re geared up and ready for the first Mantralogy Tour ever! The tour begins in New York, continues to Toronto, Canada and then proceeds to LA for our tour of the West Coast. We have some great shows planned, including a teacher training retreat with Shiva Rea and an album celebration party with Jai Uttal and MC Yogi. This tour is a double header with the of the freshest talents in the sacred music world who have been signed to the Mantralogy record label. The Mayapuris all have extensive backgrounds in ancient Indian chants and rhythmic techniques, but give their music a contemporary twist. Their entertaining and colorful presentations of live music feature classical Indian dance and enlivening Mrdunga drum presentations. The Mayapuris will get your heart beating at every show! They will be part of the Mantralogy ‘09 Tour with Gaura Vani & As Kindred Spirits and are working on their demo album.
