The concert is held each November and is hosted annually by one of the three largest house of worship in Washington, D.C. – the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington Hebrew Congregation and Washington National Cathedral. Tickets for this year’s performance are available at two price levels. Reserved tickets are $30 each, $25 each for groups of ten or more. General admission tickets are $15 each, $12.50 each for groups of ten or more and $18 at the door on the night of the performance. One significant highlight of each year’s concert is the annual honoree(s), chosen for their contributions to the Washington, D.C. community. Past honorees of the annual InterFaith Concert include James Walsh, Joseph & Lynne Horning, Alexine & Aaron Jackson, Dr. Diane Sherwood (posthumously), Elizabeth Campbell, H. Robert Linowes, Austin Kiplinger and Richard Snowdon. Our concert has become a model for interfaith concerts in other cities, notably Hartford, Connecticut, Tucson, Arizona, Columbus, Ohio and Richmond, Virginia." |
